How it works

The styles use Unicode's Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block (U+1D400–U+1D7FF) and combining diacritical marks. This block was originally designed for mathematical notation but is used creatively across social media. Enclosed alphanumerics (U+2460–U+24FF) provide circled and squared variants, while regional indicators create the block-letter effect.

Accessibility warning

Fancy Unicode text is often unreadable by screen readers - they may announce each character individually by its Unicode name (e.g., "MATHEMATICAL BOLD CAPITAL H") instead of reading the word naturally. Fancy text is also not indexed by search engines as meaningful text. Avoid using it for anything that needs to be accessible or findable.
