These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of toolcroft.com ("the Site", "Toolcroft", "we", "our", "us") and the tools, calculators, converters, and utilities provided through the Site (collectively, the "Tools"). By using the Site or any Tool, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The Tools and your use of them

1.1 What we provide

We provide free, browser-based utility tools. Every Tool runs entirely in your browser. We do not offer accounts, server-side storage, paid features, or guarantees of result accuracy beyond reasonable effort.

1.2 No warranty on results

The Tools are provided "as is". While we work to make them accurate, we make no warranty that the calculations, conversions, generations, or transformations produced by any Tool are correct, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Do not rely on the Tools' output for high-stakes decisions (financial, medical, legal, structural, or otherwise) without independent verification by a qualified professional.

1.3 Permitted use

You may use the Tools for any lawful personal or business purpose, including commercial purposes. You may not:

You retain all rights to any input you provide to a Tool (text, numbers, files). As described in the Privacy Policy, your input never leaves your browser; we do not see it, store it, or use it.

1.5 Output

Output produced by any Tool from your input belongs to you. We claim no rights to your output. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use the input you provide and the output you produce.

2. Intellectual property

The Site itself (including the design, text, layout, and code we wrote) is owned by us or licensed to us. Open-source libraries we use are listed at /credits with their license terms. You may view, print, and share Site content for personal, non-commercial use, with attribution.

"Toolcroft" and the Site logo are our trademarks (or trademarks-in-use). You may not use them without permission, except for fair-use references such as linking to or describing the Site.

3. Third-party services

The Site uses third-party services for advertising and analytics, as described in the Privacy Policy: Google AdSense, Google Funding Choices, and Cloudflare Web Analytics. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of the Site is also subject to those policies as far as they apply to your interactions with those services.

4. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND THE TOOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF MALICIOUS CODE. YOU USE THE SITE AND THE TOOLS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

5. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY TOOL, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or any Tool, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

7. Modifications to the Site and these Terms

We may modify the Site (add, change, or remove Tools) and these Terms from time to time. When we modify these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date and post the new version. Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the changed Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate access to the Site or any Tool, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

11. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede any prior agreements.
