Birthdays and time zones

The countdown uses your device's local time zone. If you were born in a different country or your birthday falls near midnight, the date may appear to differ by one day in another time zone. For example, if your birthday starts at midnight in Tokyo, it is still the previous day in New York City (a 14-hour difference). The calculation always anchors to your local clock, so share results with that context in mind.
