How to use this tool

About Block Stacker

Block Stacker is a classic Tetris-style falling block puzzle game. Tetrominoes (four-block shapes) fall from the top of the board. Your goal is to arrange them to fill complete horizontal lines, which are then cleared to score points.

Plan placements by looking at the active piece, the Next preview, and the Hold slot. Complete rows disappear and the cells above them fall into the cleared space. The game raises its level after every ten cleared lines, so pieces fall faster as a run continues. Gravity starts at 600 milliseconds per row and bottoms out at 100 milliseconds per row.

Scoring

A line clear earns a fixed base score multiplied by the current level plus one. For example, clearing two lines at level 2 earns 300 × 3, or 900 points. Clearing several rows with one piece is more valuable than clearing them one at a time.

1 line: 100 points × (level + 1)
2 lines: 300 points × (level + 1)
3 lines: 500 points × (level + 1)
4 lines: 800 points × (level + 1)

Strategy tips

Keep the stack flat: a flat, even top surface gives every piece a legal placement. Avoid tall spikes and isolated holes.
Save the I-piece for Tetris: build a flat stack with one column left open, then drop the I-piece to clear all 4 lines at once for maximum score.
Use hold strategically: hold the I-piece until you need it for a Tetris; hold an awkward piece until the board is ready for it. Hold is available again after the current piece locks.

This game scores completed rows using the table above and does not award a separate T-spin bonus. Rotations use the board space available at the current position, without wall kicks, so move a piece away from an edge before rotating if it does not fit.
