Subscriber Milestone Countdown - Reach Your Next Goal

Predict when your YouTube, Twitch, or social media channel will hit its next subscriber milestone. Enter two snapshots and get linear + compounding projections with downloadable calendar reminder.

Derive growth rate from two snapshots

Enter two snapshots or a manual daily rate to see projections.

Estimates only - actual growth depends on many unpredictable factors.

Linear vs compounding growth

Linear growth assumes you gain the same number of subscribers every day - for example, +50 subscribers per day regardless of your current size.

Compounding growth assumes you gain a fixed percentage of your current subscriber count every day. As your channel grows, you attract more subscribers per day, accelerating the path to your milestone.

How to use the snapshots feature

Check your subscriber count today and note it down, then check again after a week or two. Enter both counts and their dates to let the tool derive your actual average daily growth rate.

Growth rate benchmarks

What counts as fast or slow subscriber growth varies enormously by platform and channel size:

  • YouTube: 50–200 new subscribers per day is considered solid for a new channel (under 10K). Established mid-size channels (100K+) often grow at 500–2,000/day.
  • Twitch: 1–5 new followers per stream is typical for small streamers. Growth accelerates significantly once a channel reaches Affiliate status (50 followers).
  • Instagram / TikTok: viral content can spike growth dramatically; base rates of 20–100 new followers per day are common for consistently posting accounts.

These benchmarks help you contextualize the daily growth rate you enter - whether your channel is ahead of, behind, or on pace with typical creators.

Plateau vs. exponential phases

Most channels follow a non-linear growth curve. Early growth is often slow as an audience is built from scratch. If a video lands in the algorithm's recommendation feed or goes viral, growth suddenly accelerates. After the spike, a new, higher baseline is established before the next breakout.

Linear projection - which assumes the same daily gain forever - often underestimates how quickly a milestone will be reached after a breakout. Compounding growth mode captures this acceleration better once you have data from a high-growth period.

Milestone psychology

Round subscriber milestones are not just social achievements - each unlocks platform features:

  • 1,000 subscribers (YouTube): required for monetization eligibility via the YouTube Partner Program (along with 4,000 watch hours).
  • 10,000 subscribers (YouTube): considered a threshold for channel verification consideration; unlocks community posts on some accounts.
  • 100,000 subscribers (YouTube): qualifies for the Silver Play Button award.
  • 1,000,000 subscribers (YouTube): Gold Play Button; major milestone for brand deals.
  • Twitch Affiliate (50 followers) and Partner (~75 avg viewers): unlock subscription revenue and other monetization features.
