Will form fields and hyperlinks be preserved?

Hyperlinks and most form fields are preserved in the merged output. Complex interactive elements may not survive all edge cases.

Metadata handling

When PDFs are merged, the output document inherits the metadata (Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Creation Date) from the first file in the list. Metadata from subsequent files is not carried forward. If you need the merged document to have specific metadata, use the PDF Metadata Editor to update it after merging.

File size expectations

The merged output will be approximately the sum of the input file sizes, since all page content is combined. PDF merging does not re-compress images or content streams. If the result is too large for your needs (email attachment limits, for example), run it through the PDF Compressor afterward to reduce file size.
